It is common for employers to go right through your employment history inquiring about each situation. You should make them wonder about you while, also keeping your resume straightforward and easy to follow.

Another function of your resume is a leave-behind after the interview. Most job seekers fail to consider this critical function of the resume. The resume reminds the employer of what you you can do for them, but it goes beyond that. Employers are often swayed by the the caliber of the resume itself.

Hiring someone is an important decision. To stand behind or convince someone of a hiring choice within a company, they will point to your resume.

After seeing your resume, some people have the power to hire you or pass you by. Since they have never met you, they will be careful. Companies hate to make mistakes when deciding on new workers.

The interviewer might think you are right for the job and want to bring you on board. But they might still have to convince their boss. An effective resume is the best sales tool you could give them.
